Driving Innovation in European Aerospace: Our Collaboration with the INTRANSIT Project

04 Mar 2025

In an era where innovation is paramount, ADO Aerospace has proudly participated in the INTRANSIT project, a Horizon Europe initiative aimed at fostering advancements in the European aerospace sector. as part of the EU innovation ecosystem, the project brings together a consortium of key players dedicated to exploring circular business models and emerging technologies. Our involvement in the INNOVATE call highlights our commitment to driving change and growth within the industry.

The INTRANSIT project aims to strengthen the resilience of SMEs in the Textile, Aerospace, Advanced Manufacturing, and Construction sectors across Europe. By integrating a consortium of ten partners—ATEVAL (Spain) as the project coordinator, Tèxtils.CAT (Spain), Technological Corporation of Andalusia - CTA (Spain), CORALLIA (Greece), PRODUTECH (Portugal), Science Park Graz - SPG (Austria), IDEAM-TUS (Ireland), Politecnico di Milano - POLIMI (Italy), IRT Jules Verne (France), Construction Cluster of Slovenia - CCS (Slovenia)—the project leverages a wealth of knowledge and expertise from both research institutions and academia.

The INTRANSIT initiative focuses on enhancing the competitiveness of these industries by exploring emerging technologies that can revolutionize the way we approach industrial challenges. With a keen emphasis on industry 5.0, circular economy and new technologies, the project promotes human-centric approaches alongside growth strategy teachings, setting the stage for a new era of innovation and collaboration among startups and research stakeholders. Through these efforts, INTRANSIT seeks to create a sustainable and resilient industrial ecosystem that encourages adaptability in European industries.

At ADO Aerospace, our mission is to transform the way aviation companies source, procure, and deliver aircraft spare parts. We support companies with AI agents that digitize paper-based contracts and automate repetitive workflows in the supply chain. Having been selected to join the project's INNOVATE project call, we have gained invaluable insights into the European R&D ecosystem. Over the last few months, we have attended diverse webinars led by project partners, providing a platform for us to learn about various topics, including the nuances of circular business models and strategies for engaging in future initiatives. This experience has not only uncovered potential opportunities for scaling our operations but has also helped us identify aerospace innovation clusters and stakeholders actively seeking innovative technologies to enhance their capabilities.

We extend our gratitude to our monitoring partner, Edin Murati from SPG, and María Jiménez Portaz from CTA for their unwavering support and guidance throughout this collaboration. Their expertise and commitment have been instrumental in enhancing our experience within the INTRANSIT project.

Looking ahead, ADO Aerospace is driven by a desire to propel innovation in the aerospace sector across Europe. As we continue to navigate the landscape of aerospace innovation, we are leveraging our knowledge and capabilities in developing AI agents for sales and procurement teams. We are excited about the possibilities that lie ahead and the collaborative efforts that will shape the supply chains of the future. Moreover, we recognize the potential to expand our services into other industries.

The collaboration with the INTRANSIT project represents a significant milestone for ADO Aerospace, underscoring our dedication to innovation and sustainability in the aerospace sector. We encourage our readers to stay connected and look forward to sharing our upcoming updates.
